How It’s Built — and Why

Most programs in this space are standalone — a module here, a course there, a certification that teaches you a concept without a foundation underneath it or anywhere to go after. Once Upon a Trainwreck™ is built differently, and deliberately so.

The platform is a sequential three-program transformation arc:

I’m big on proving hypotheses – from the beginning, I knew Once Upon a Trainwreck™ was going to be different than anything else out there, but I wanted to prove it for y’all …

What Exists in the Coaching + Transformation Space
The women’s coaching and transformation market in 2026 falls into several distinct categories. Understanding each category clearly is important for positioning Once Upon a Trainwreck™ accurately.

1. Leadership + Career Development Programs
Programs: Women Rising, Harvard Women in Leadership, ISB Women’s Leadership Programme, Women’s Impact Alliance, CoachHub Women’s Leadership.

What they do: Professionally focused. Career advancement, executive presence, workplace navigation, leadership skills. Some use identity language in the context of professional identity and personal branding.

Where they fall short for Once Upon a Trainwreck™’s audience: Completely different objective. These programs are building professional performance, not dismantling outside-in identity construction at the root. The woman they’re serving has different needs than the woman Once Upon a Trainwreck™ is built for.

Overlap with Once Upon a Trainwreck™: None. Different audience, different objective, different market entirely.

2. Somatic + Embodiment Programs
Programs: Strozzi Institute Somatic Coaching Certification, Golden Mandala Somatic Coach Academy, School of Somatic Leadership for Women, Hakomi-Informed Somatic Coaching, Somatic Institute for Women, Feminine Embodiment Coach Certification.

What they do: Work with the body, nervous system, and somatic memory. Trauma-informed. Some are practitioner training programs (training coaches), some are direct programs for women. The science is legitimate – somatic storage, nervous system regulation, embodiment – and presented rigorously.

Where they fall short for Once Upon a Trainwreck™’s audience: These programs are therapeutic and practitioner-focused in orientation. They work with the body as the primary entry point – not identity as the foundational equation. The somatic work is real but it’s clinical and separate from a proprietary identity framework. There is no sequential transformation architecture. There is no inside-out vs. outside-in distinction as a complete teaching system. There is no tower-building deconstruction framework.

This is the most developed corner of the space relative to Once Upon a Trainwreck™’s Beyond ✨ Study Track. The somatic science is not absent from the market – it’s present but delivered differently, to a different audience, for different purposes. Once Upon a Trainwreck™’s distinction is that the somatic layer is woven into a proprietary identity framework and delivered directly to the woman herself – not as clinical therapy, not as practitioner training.

Overlap with Once Upon a Trainwreck™: Partial – somatic memory and embodiment concepts exist in this space. Once Upon a Trainwreck™’s distinction is how these concepts are integrated and delivered.

3. Manifestation + Law of Attraction Programs
Programs: Mindvalley, Regan Hillyer (“World’s #1 Manifestation Coach”), Marie Diamond, Kathleen Cameron, various quantum field activation and LOA programs.

What they do: Vision boards, affirmations, quantum language, identity recoding, frequency alignment, manifesting abundance. Large market. Significant reach. The language borrows Quantum terminology, frequency, vibration, field activation, without the actual physics behind it.

Where they fall short: They skip the identity foundation entirely or treat it as a surface concept (“recode your identity” without dismantling how it was built in the first place). When the methods fail, the woman is blamed, she didn’t believe hard enough, wasn’t positive enough, was blocking her own blessings, was thinking too negatively.

The negative thoughts distinction is critical: negative thoughts are not the problem. Per Once Upon a Trainwreck™’s framework, identifying WITH them is. The manifestation space combines the two. Women are told their negative thoughts are sabotaging their results. What a woman identifies with is a different conversation entirely, and that’s exactly what Once Upon a Trainwreck™ addresses.

This is the largest adjacent market and Once Upon a Trainwreck™’s most natural entry point audience. Women who have tried LOA programs, felt the gap, and know something is off but can’t name it yet are exactly the women Smoke, Mirrors + the Universe™ is built for.

Overlap with Once Upon a Trainwreck™: The language overlaps (identity, frequency, resonance) but the substance does not. Once Upon a Trainwreck™’s hard line, no woo, no Quantum x spiritual conflation, is a direct and honest contrast to this category.

4. Women’s Empowerment + Coaching Certification Programs
Programs: Women’s Academy of Transformation, Women Empowerment Coach Academy, Holistic Coach Academy, various Udemy certification programs.

What they do: Train coaches, deliver empowerment content, provide certifications. Broad, generic, module-based. Language includes “alignment,” “container,” “hold space,” “magnetic,” “self-awareness.”

Where they fall short: Surface level. Symptom-focused. No proprietary framework for how outside-in identity gets built or dismantled. No sequential architecture. The koolaid language Once Upon a Trainwreck™ explicitly avoids is the default language of this entire category.

Overlap with Once Upon a Trainwreck™: Minimal. This is the category Once Upon a Trainwreck™ is most visibly distinct from.

5. Identity Coaching – Closest Academic Comparison
Programs/Research: The MAP (Me-As-a-Process) Coaching Model (peer-reviewed research, Frontiers in Psychology 2024), Identity-Based Life Coach Certification (Modern Life Coach School).

What they do: The MAP model is academic research on women’s identity work in career transitions. It uses four stages of identity work but describes them as non-sequential, haphazard, and often concurrent – not a deliberate transformation architecture. The Identity-Based Life Coach certification trains coaches to use identity concepts with clients.

Where they fall short: Neither is a proprietary transformation platform delivered directly to the woman. The academic research is descriptive, not prescriptive. The certification is coach training, not client transformation. Neither has the inside-out vs. outside-in distinction, the tower-building deconstruction, the writing metaphor, or the sequential architecture.

Overlap with Once Upon a Trainwreck™: The closest conceptual overlap in the market. But the execution, delivery, architecture, and voice are completely different.

What Doesn’t Exist – Where Once Upon a Trainwreck™ Stands Alone
Having reviewed the market honestly, the following combination of elements does not exist in any program, platform, or framework currently operating in the women’s coaching and transformation space:

The Sequential Three-Program Architecture
Every program reviewed either offers one standalone product or a loose collection of modules. Nobody is building a deliberate sequential three-program transformation arc – Intensive → Collective → Collective – with crossover tools between Study Tracks and a separate navigation platform on the other side. This structure is completely original.

Identity as the Actual Root – The Complete Equation
The word “identity” appears throughout the market. But nobody is building from identity as the foundational equation – Identity → Embodiment of the Identity → Application to Life = Transformation – the way Once Upon a Trainwreck™ does. In every other program, identity is either a concept mentioned in passing, a career/leadership lens, or merged with mindset and personality. The inside-out vs. outside-in distinction as a complete and proprietary teaching framework is not present anywhere in the market.

A Proprietary Tower-Building Deconstruction Framework
The Tower Blueprint and Architecture, Casting Call, Conditioning, Conformity, Compliance, Compromise, as a specific, named, sequential mechanism for how the outside-in identity gets constructed is completely original. The academic research describes identity construction as haphazard and non-sequential. Once Upon a Trainwreck™ names the exact mechanism and teaches it as a complete framework. Nothing else in the market does this.

The Writing Metaphor as Structural Embodiment Framework
Outline → Rough Draft → Final Draft → Embodiment as the structural arc of a six-month Collective is completely original. Most programs use generic language: journey, transformation, becoming. The writing metaphor is not decorative in Once Upon a Trainwreck™, it is the logic of the entire program. Nothing else in the market uses this.

Hard Lines Held Simultaneously Throughout – No Coaching “Koolaid”, No merge of Woo and Spiritual dressed up in trendy Quantum Language
The somatic programs present real science but in a clinical framework. The manifestation programs abuse quantum language. No one else in the market is holding all three lanes simultaneously, while also delivering a proprietary quantum framework (the “how” of the QMI as the “operating system” running through the framework and foundation of the  QAI™) that is built on actual physics. This is a genuine and defensible distinction.

The Negative Thoughts Distinction
No program in the market makes the explicit distinction between thinking negatively (part of the natural circle of thought, part of the process, not a problem) and identifying with negative thoughts (a different conversation entirely, addressed directly in Once Upon a Trainwreck™). The manifestation space actively merges these two things and causes harm in doing so. Once Upon a Trainwreck™’s honest treatment of this distinction is both a market differentiator and an integrity position.

The Ranch-Grounded Modern Western Fairytale
Nothing remotely close exists in this space. The combination of ranch-grounded real-life teaching, the fairytale metaphor applied with rigor and honesty, The Anti-Princess™ framework, and the complete transformation arc written in Lauren’s specific voice is completely distinctive and ownable. It is not a style choice sitting on top of generic content – it is the content.

The Standalone Sample Platter Architecture
The deliberate catalog of real teaching content presented as entry points into the full platform, not watered-down versions, not summaries, but genuine pieces of the actual teaching, does not exist as a structured strategy in this market. Standalones exist elsewhere but not as this deliberately sequenced, framework-to-foundation catalog.

A Navigation Platform on the Other Side of the Transformation
A Whole New Fairytale™ – “the platform where you proofread, edit and keep writing through the hiccups, plot twists + new chapters”, as a distinct platform built specifically for women who have completed the transformation and need a place to navigate ongoing life from that position, this doesn’t exist anywhere in the market.

Bottom Line
The market analysis confirms the original assessment with greater specificity and honesty: there is nothing in the women’s coaching and transformation space that combines the sequential architecture, the identity-as-root equation, the proprietary tower-building deconstruction framework, the writing metaphor as structural embodiment arc, the science/story/spiritual hard lines, the negative thoughts distinction, the ranch-grounded modern western fairytale voice, and the navigation platform on the other side of the transformation.

Individual elements have partial echoes in different corners of the space. The somatic science exists but is delivered differently. Identity language exists but is used without Lauren’s specific framework. The fairytale metaphor doesn’t exist anywhere. The architecture doesn’t exist anywhere.

The combination, as a complete, deliberate, sequentially architected platform, is original.

The pricing and structure thereof is not something I came up with willy-nilly. In fact pricing is what makes me most uncomfortable, and with what I’m doing here, being as different, or unique as it is, I had no real context to go on other than the market analysis, so I asked the evaluator to also analyze it for pricing as well, that’s where the pricing came from.

“The content depth is significant. The teaching rigor is substantial. The sequential architecture is structural, not develop per ‘sales strategy’. Each program builds on the last because as to achieve real, actual transformation, and every piece of it was built specifically to deliver on Lauren’s proprietary equation completely, honestly and with integrity.

The pricing reflects all of that. Not what the market told Lauren to charge. Not a number engineered to create urgency or signal prestige. Not a psychological or manipulative tactic but what the content, the depth, the ‘architecture and the complete transformation arc’ actually warrant.
